Idea Development Packet

This packet must be completed in its entirety.
This packet is meant to help you generate meaningful ideas and hopefully learn to explore your ideas beyond your initial thoughts. The creative process is crucial to your development as an artist. I want you to learn how to make your work say something literally or symbolically.

I would like you to explain in detail your idea:

I will draw architectural drawings in different ways. Each drawing will be made with different and various materials. I would use charcoal, line tape, conte, water color, oil color, oil pastel, color pencil, pencil, soft pastel, and colaju.

DESCRIPTION: Briefly describe the theme or nature of your work. In other words, what will your drawing be about?

I will draw about architectural shape or figures, such as buildings or scultures. Since architectural drawing is very related with concept of space, perspective would be the one that is most important.

MOOD: Describe the mood you would like your work to convey and how you plan to achieve this.

I want my works to convey a moving spaces or the overlapped spaces that are not in the same time.

COLOR SCHEMES: Think of colors that can be used to enhance the visual interest of the work.

I will use complement colors a lot such as black and white, or blue and red. One can be the line that forms the shape, and one can be the

THE SKETCH:
Inside your sketchbook, please adhere this worksheet to the page. Next, begin drawing out your ideas in the form of a quick thumbnail sketch using all the information you’ve gathered from above. You must complete a Vertical and a Horizontal composition. Then choose the sketch that works the best and rework it into a more finished sketch inside your sketchbook.
